TRE is a simple, gentle, and profound technique that facilitates the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas muscle and the release of physical and emotional tension and stress.

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, Ph.D., TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

Laureen has over 20 years of experience as a former PT asst. & group fitness instructor. She acquired her Viniyoga/Hatha certification in 2015 which has led her to her most recent certifications in TRE, Reiki healing & lymphatic work focusing on trauma/nervous system healing. Laureen is the owner of Cosmic Karma. She facilitates workshops, private/group yoga classes & TRE sessions in Mandeville. She creates a supportive environment that makes people feel safe as she leads her classes with compassion and ease.
